About Róbert Ragnarsson
I am a specialist in public administration with municipal management as my area of expertise. I have been a mayor, founded and run my own company, and been a partner in the largest consulting firm in the country. I have worked with people from all political parties to streamline operations, improve services, and strengthen communities. Including for Reykjavík City.
Too often good ideas get stuck and are never implemented. My impatience with this has grown and now I want to enter the political arena, take responsibility, achieve good results, and increase trust in city government.
My experience in bringing people together and finding common solutions will improve city operations and return money to the services we want.

I have experience leading institutions and companies and I know how to achieve results when there is will. My experience and knowledge will serve well in city government.
I have a clear vision of how we can do better – and I am ready to take responsibility for making it happen.
